Spelling, Grammar & Punctuation (formerly Jolly Grammar) is a six-level programme that develops spelling, punctuation, vocabulary and understanding of how English works.
The Teacher’s Book provides structured lesson plans and detailed teaching guidance. Activities introduce spelling patterns, sentence structure, vocabulary, comprehension, dictionary use and thesaurus skills.
This Level 1 edition includes a scope and sequence for 36 units, a revised introduction and updated lessons on ph, /air/ spellings, ear, suffixes, comparatives and superlatives, and sentence work including sequencing and the joining word “and”.
The updated design complements the Reading Comprehension and Writing Skills course, so the resources can be used together. This listing is for Teacher’s Book 1.
