A set of 30 individual spelling strips for classroom or home use. One side shows the 42 letter sounds; the other shows alternative vowel spellings. This is the American English edition in print letters.
Give each child a strip to help them check sounds and spellings independently during lessons or home practice. The coated surface can be written on with a whiteboard marker and wiped clean.
For children who find letter learning difficult, try asking them to circle the sound they hear before writing it. This offers a way to practise connecting sounds with letters and spellings.
